2023 summer camps and activities in Abu Dhabi



We've rounded up our top summer camps in the capital. From fitness to crafts, there is bound to be something that will suit your summer childcare needs.

 
Manarat Al Saadiyat and Berklee Abu Dhabi

Experience an extraordinary art camp designed exclusively for Juniors aged 6-12 years, brought to you by MAS Art Studio instructors.

This summer break, participants will embark on a journey of creativity with a variety of engaging and themed art activities and performances that will excite their senses. The weekly fee includes all art supplies. Prior registration for the whole week is required.

Fee: AED 1000 per week

The camp runs on a weekly basis from 10 July to 25 August.

Repton School Abu Dhabi

Repton School Abu Dhabi will be hosting Ivy Camps USA this summer. Ivy Camps USA is an extracurricular provider with Ivy League teachers. Kids will get to enjoy programs like media creation and public speaking, science and engineering, and business and finance. For your littlest ones, the camp offers Junior Explorers, where kids can learn about animals and dinosaurs, teamwork with crafts, engineering, and space. Each camp is one weeklong and all of the programs will be taught by instructors from American universities like Harvard, Yale and MIT.


Summer camps begin 10 July and end on 11 August. Kids from ages 3 – 14 are welcome, and all camps are $421.73, which is about AED 1,550.

Little Entrepreneurs – Redwood Montessori Nursery

Let your children pack their suitcase and set sail on an exciting cruise through the Americas. Your kids will journey between seven destinations including Costa Rica, Mexico and Hawaii. This real world with a summer camp centered around role-play, problem solving, creativity and building emotional intelligence.


The camp runs from the 3 July to 30 August 2023.

Apron Stories

Budding chefs in your brood can try out Apron Stories’ range of camp options this summer, ranging from little ones and teens. Throughout July and August, Apron Stories will different themed camps, including, Bke off cooking challenges, cupcake wars, crazy scientists int he kitchen , Wednesday the movie, Super Mario Bros and more.


The four-day camps are available every week from the 3 July to 25 August, and are prices at AED 796 per person with lunch provided

Little Stars Gymnastics

Little Stars Gymnastics will be running a fun and educational gymnastics summer break program for boys and girls, starting from the age of 2.5 years old. In addition to gymnastics skill development, the kids will have an opportunity to engage in tumbling, trampolining and other fun activities.​

The program offers a choice between flexible daily subscriptions or discounted weekly passes.

Summer classes run from 3 July until 25 August and are grouped by ages 2.5-3 years, 3-6 years, 7-15 years and 16+ Inc Adults)

Cultural Foundation Art Summer Camp

Your teens can enjoy an in-depth learning experience which will immerse them in digital art, phone photography, animation and much more through practical projects with professional artists. Every workshop is a master class in understanding the various mediums of art and understanding the latest techniques, allowing them to unleash their creativity.

The series of workshops are two hours each, with each week offering something different to experience. You can choose to sign up for one class, one day or for one week.


The camp runs from 3 July to 27 July, from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. Each week is AED 550.

Circuit X – Summer X Camp

This summer, let your kids combine adventure, water activities, sports, skill-building, and creativity all in one camp! The Circuit X Summer Camp at Hudayriyat Island includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities across the high ropes park, splash park and skate park. Inside, kids will do science projects, play football, basketball, yoga, arts and crafts, plus cooking workshops. All camp days will include water, snacks and lunch breaks.


Summer X Camp runs from Mondays and Fridays until 25 August and is open for kids ages 6 and up. The camp passes start from AED 240.

Zayed Sports City Kids Camp 2.0

Another option for your more active kids is the Kids Camp 2.0 at Zayed Sports City. Operated by HARAKA, they’ve lined up lots of activities for your athletic kids including relay races, sports, and scavenger hunts. All groups are led by industry qualified coaches.


Available to kids ages 5 to 12, the camp runs from the 3 July to 25 August from 8am-3pm. A weekly session costs AED 955 and daily priced at AED 255.

Dance your way through the summer! Emirates School of Dance by Bodytree Studio returns with their Kids Summer Dance Camp. Designed to inspire creativity and foster a love for the performing arts, the camp offers a diverse range of activities for children aged 5 to 7 and 8 to 11.


From 7-25 August, young dancers will have the opportunity to explore various dance genres, including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Theatre for Beginners.

Your kids will also have the chance to unleash their creativity through Drama workshops, Singing sessions and Music Play activities.
