Build History Brick by Brick: LEGO® and Yas Mall Gear Up for Record-Breaking Fun in Abu Dhabi
Get ready to witness history in the making as LEGO® Middle East partners with Yas Mall for an event that's set to rev up your excitement. From 10-20 October, Abu Dhabi will host an attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for the Largest LEGO Brick Formula 1 Car, and you can be part of it.
This isn’t just about watching a record get broken—it’s about getting involved and making your mark, one brick at a time. Whether you’re a LEGO enthusiast, a racing fan, or simply looking for some family fun, this event has something for everyone. Visitors of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves and dive into the action by helping to build this record-breaking car. You’ll get 40 LEGO bricks and instructions at dedicated build stations, creating your section of the car before proudly handing it over to the Chief Brick Engineer. It’s a unique way to leave your footprint (or brick) on something truly remarkable.
As each piece gets added to the giant car, a visual masterpiece will gradually emerge, making it an event you’ll want to return to and see progress day by day. The build itself will be the centrepiece of an immersive experience, with play areas and activities designed for the whole family. So, it’s not just about building; it’s about joining in the creativity, joy, and community spirit that make LEGO events so special.
The excitement will reach its peak on 19 October, when all eyes will be on the final assembly. LEGO Master Builders will combine the community’s contributions to complete the car in time for an official Guinness World Record auditor to confirm the achievement. If successful, it will be a historic moment not just for LEGO, but for everyone who participated.
