As the UAE prepares to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day on August 28th, the nation reflects on the incredible achievements and contributions of Emirati women who have played a vital role in shaping the country’s future. Launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, Mother of the Nation, in 2015, this annual event honours the strength, resilience, and innovation of Emirati women across all sectors.

Tomorrow is built on the foundation of Emirati women, the torchbearers of our rich heritage whose actions today continue to inspire future generations.”
This sentiment is echoed by Waood Ibrahim Al Mutawa, Human Resource Director at The Galleria Al Maryah Island, who celebrates the increasing presence of women in the private sector. “Today, women proudly make up nearly a quarter of the private sector workforce, marking a significant 23% increase in participation.
