Get ready to laugh until your cheeks hurt because Dave Chappelle is heading back to the capital this summer! The comedy legend will take the stage at Etihad Arena on 27 June, returning to Abu Dhabi after his record-breaking show during last year’s inaugural Abu Dhabi Comedy Week.

The show was the largest comedy event ever held in the region, with over 14,000 fans filling the arena. And if that’s anything to go by, this year’s performance is going to be even bigger.

Presale tickets go live on Monday, 15 April at 8am on www.livenation.me, followed by the general sale on Tuesday, 16 April.

Born in Washington, D.C. in 1973, Chappelle started performing stand-up at just 14 years old. After rising to stardom in film and television, he created the now-legendary Chappelle’s Show, a cultural touchstone blending satire, social commentary, and unforgettable characters.

Despite walking away from a US $50 million deal at the height of the show’s success, his legacy only grew stronger and it was a bold move many saw as a stand for creative freedom.

Chappelle’s raw honesty, clever insights, and effortless delivery have earned him five Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. His Netflix specials, including The Dreamer, continue to dominate the comedy world.
