The Clash of the Legends will be an exciting hybrid match that brings together the best of football and basketball for an unforgettable 3x3 game.

Football Icons Making the Switch

For the first time ever, legendary footballers Roberto Carlos, Luís Figo, and Iker Casillas will be swapping the pitch for the court, where they’ll face off against The Wizard Ronaldinho, star striker Thierry Henry, and defensive great Gerard Piqué. These six football icons, known for their mastery of the beautiful game, will bring their unique flair to the world of basketball in what promises to be a thrilling display of skill, showmanship, and friendly rivalry.

Fans can expect plenty of banter and competitive spirit. As Casillas noted, “I’m looking forward to competing against Ronaldinho, Thierry, and Gerard again. Fans remember the intense football matches we played, and bringing that rivalry to the basketball court will be something special.” He humorously added, “I have the most experience using my hands, so hopefully that will translate to the court. Roberto will be our electric point guard, and Luís will shine in key moments.”

Piqué also teased fans with his excitement: “For the first time, we’ll face each other playing basketball. We’ve had many epic games on the pitch, and reviving that rivalry on a basketball court will bring excitement and competition. With Ronaldinho and Thierry on my team, we’ll bring the magic!”
