If you’ve been missing your cinema experience, you’ll soon be able to watch a selection of the best films from the comfort of your own car, on a massive LED screen as Yas Island launches the Yas Drive In Cinema.

Yas Island presents the Yas Drive In Cinema, which will give you an opportunity to sit back, relax and watch a movie without even having to leave your car, while enjoying a full cinematic experience in a safe, purpose-built venue.

From Thursday July 9th, movies will be beamed on a giant screen throughout the weekend, with a selection of carefully selected, fan-favourite movies spanning lots of different of genres.

While you are watching the movie, soundtracks will be played through a dedicated radio channel on the car stereo.

Of course, no trip to the cinema is complete without the option to snack on a selection of treats, and you’ll be able to chow down on popcorn, soft drinks, water and chocolate which are included in the ticket price, but you can also order additional treats and they will be delivered directly to your car, by the venue’s dedicated team of staff.

Doors will open at 7pm and films will begin from 8pm each day, with entrance to the Drive In Cinema via the East Gate.

On the opening night, you can look forward to watching Mad Max Fury Road, followed by Joker and Crazy Rich Asians on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th July respectively. A week later, it’s Gravity on Thursday 16th, Ready Player One on Friday 17th and A Star is Born on Saturday 18th.

Visit YasMarinaCircuit.com for more information and ticket purchases, with tickets scheduled to go on sale on Thursday 2nd July.

Health and Safety

With the health and safety of both staff and customers of paramount importance, a number of measures have been implemented in accordance with Government directives to ensure the health and well-being of everybody inside the venue, including a 65-car limit to abide by the social distancing regulations, temperature checking with hand-held devices for all guests on arrival and the availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) should it be required.

As an added safety precaution, prayer rooms, along with shower and locker facilities, will not be available at any time, while every effort has been made to ensure the customer experience is as contactless as possible, right from the initial online purchase of tickets to departing the venue at the conclusion of the movie.

You’ll also be required to wear facemasks if windows are lowered to speak to event staff, and when leaving your vehicle at any point throughout the event.

Restrooms will be available onsite and customers attending should be aware that additional payments are cashless.
