Imagine wandering through 17,000 square metres of transformative, multi-sensory installations that constantly evolve around you. Created by the innovative Tokyo-based art collective teamLab in partnership with Miral and DCT Abu Dhabi, this isn’t your typical gallery visit. Instead, you’re invited to engage with art that reacts to your presence—where light, sound, and touch work in harmony to create a dynamic journey that’s unique every time.

So, what can you expect to see?
Alongside stepping into a water garden filled with ovoids, which when pushed, shines brightly and emits a sound tone which prompts ovoids around it to also respond to it, there are other immersive pieces such as:
Installations like “Massless Suns and Dark Suns” which challenge your perceptions with ethereal spheres of light and darkness. Touching one of these light orbs might set off a ripple effect, as neighbouring spheres light up in response—a reminder that here, art exists because of its environment.
Then there’s “Levitation Void,” an installation that defies gravity as a mysterious void hovers and reassembles itself in a display that feels almost magical.
Designed in collaboration with teamLab Architects and local MZ Architects, the purpose-built space not only houses these astonishing exhibits but also lets them evolve freely.
