This summer, Jones the Grocer has brought a twist to its menu with the launch of summer scoops. Available at all Jones the Grocer locations throughout July and August, these sundaes feature four mouth-watering flavours, perfect for cooling down during the hot summer months as temperatures soar. Love chocolate? Indulge in the Brownie Fudge Sundae, with Jones chocolate ice cream as the base, loaded with chunky brownie pieces, silky smooth ganache, and topped with light whipped cream. The Pistachio Milk Cake Sundae offers a nutty delight with pistachio ice cream paired with a light, airy sponge soaked in pistachio milk, finished with toasted pistachios for crunch and a delicate meringue kiss on top. For a caramelized crunch, the Lotus Biscoff Sundae features vanilla ice cream with Lotus biscuit crumbs, a generous drizzle of Lotus cream and Biscoff spread, all topped with whipped cream. Lastly, the Strawberry Cheesecake Sundae combines vanilla ice cream with fluffy and tangy whipped cream cheese, strawberry syrup, digestive cookies, and juicy fresh strawberries.

Take a Break From the City and Embrace Nature at the 20th Liwa Date Festival

The Liwa Date Festival is set to return on the 15th. The event is sponsored by Tadweer Group who is determined to reinforce their commitment to promoting sustainability at the Festival. While you're checking out the festival and indulging in dates, be sure to stop by Tadweer Group’s booth for fun contests focused on raising awareness for reducing, reusing and recycling. The booth will also serve as an interactive platform to encourage waste segregation and environmental sustainability, and showcase the organisation’s key projects with the aim to divert waste from landfill. Between 4 and 9 p.m. daily, the Tadweer Group Booth will hold contest like creating a bouquet of flowers, painting a fan made of palm fronds, creating a shopping bag from palm fronds and more.

Sushi Sunday with Sushi Art

Sushi Art unveiled a new summer-inspired menu last week! The new flavours will be available through the end of August via dine-in, delivery, takeaway and their app. Some of the new bites include: South Tuna Roll (15 AED for 3 pcs / 30 AED for 6pcs) contains Tuna Belly, Sundried Tomato and Tapenade Mayonnaise; the Salmon Delight Roll (15 AED for 3 pcs / 30 AED for 9 pcs) is a winning recipe from the Sushi Art cooking competition with Salmon, Beetroot, Almonds, and Mint; the Summer Poke (58 AED for medium size / 65 AED for large size)

A fresh Poke Bowl that contains Salmon, Fennel, and Pineapple; and the Berry Sweet Spring (11 AED for 3 pcs / 22 AED for 6 pcs) another winning recipe from the Sushi Art cooking competition, featuring Strawberry, Beetroot, Fresh Mint, and Lemon, all wrapped in a spring roll.
