After debuting last week, Nalu Surf Club is the latest hotspot to check out in the capital, so why not check it out and add some excitement to your Monday? Located at Surf Abu Dhabi on Hudayriyat Island, the club offers a restaurant, Oak Bar Lounge and the Wave Deck, where you can sit right on the artificial waves of Surf AD. The food is a fusion of Latin American and Asian cuisine with dishes like Huevos Rancheros and Goong Sarong, crispy shrimp wrapped in Kunafa Dough with a sweet chili dip.

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at Dai Pai Dong

Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s Dai Pai Dong is embracing the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival until September 17th with a celebration steeped in tradition and flavour. The festival, a time-honoured occasion rooted in ancient Chinese customs of moon worship and harvest gratitude, is honoured with a specially curated family set menu and traditional mooncakes. The golden-brown pastries, filled with lotus seed paste, sweet red bean paste, or a 5-nut mix, are a hallmark of the festival. Chef Dong has specifically crafted a family set menu bringing together a feast of flavours that evoke the warmth of the festival.

Treat Your Tots to a Sushi Night


 

Sushi Art has reimagined its Happy Sushi Box for the back-to-school season. The Happy Sushi Box will be available from September onwards with new additions like Spicy Tuna Maki, Salmon Roll Maki and Prawn Tempura Roll. The box features a variety of flavours and textures, including Tuna, Sushi, Salmon Sushi, Salmon Avocado Rolls, Salmon Avocado Spring Rolls, Cucumber Avocado Rolls, Crispy Kani Rolls, Avocado Maki, and Tuna Maki. The Happy Sushi box is priced at AED 129 for delivery and AED 119 for dine-in and takeaway and will be available every Wednesday at all branches UAE-wide. Clean Up the Beach and Then Clean Up Your Plate at a Sustainable Brunch



 

Spinneys Abu Dhabi and St. Regis Saadiyat Island are hosting a beach clean-up event with a sustainability-focused brunch on Saturday, September 21st, celebrating World Clean-up Day and International Coastal Clean-up Day. The morning will kick off with a Beach Cleanup from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. St. Regis will provide participants with water, while Spinneys Abu Dhabi will supply gloves, bags, and cleanup gear. The cleanup is part of a global movement to reduce plastic pollution and preserve our oceans, aligning with the mission of Sea Change, a wine brand carried by Spinneys that donates 10 cents for every bottle sold to ocean conservation charities.

 

Following the cleanup, you can enjoy a Sustainable Brunch at Buddha Bar from 12:30 to 4:00 PM. St. Regis Saadiyat Island will showcase its innovative sustainability initiatives, including efforts to reduce food waste in their cocktail and drinks menu. Spinneys Abu Dhabi will provide Sea Change wine selections (Prosecco, White, Red, Rosé) and beer for the brunch, with a special guest speaker, Toby Hancock, representing the Sea Change brand globally. He will speak about the importance of sustainability in business and the role of Sea Change in

protecting marine environments.
