Explore Emirati Handicrafts
Head to Al Ain and check out the Traditional Handicrafts Festival! The annual festival, held in the Souq Al Qattara in Al Ain, promotes traditional Emirati handicrafts and helps to develop them as a source of income. Visitors can watch local experts showcase their crafts and learn about their significance as important expressions of local heritage. The Festival will also feature musical performances, educational programmes and interactive events. While there, be sure to see concerts by Bait Al Oud and the family-friendly Al Suwayea programmes at Al Qattara Arts Centre.
