Urban Market Concept Debuts in Abu Dhabi – A Weekend Festival You Won't Want to Miss!
Abu Dhabi’s Manarat Al Saadiyat is set to be the ultimate hotspot this November as Urban Market Concept (UMC) brings its first-ever festival to the capital from Friday 8 - 10 November.
This three-day extravaganza promises to transform the cultural hub of Manarat Al Saadiyat into a bustling playground of fashion, food, and music. With over 40 eclectic vendors in tow, festival-goers can expect an impressive selection of thrift, vintage, and streetwear, alongside accessories and some of the region’s most exciting home-grown brands. Shoppers will find everything from unique vintage cameras to sustainable fashion gems and bespoke jewellery – all set to delight the savvy style-seeker!
Festival Highlights: What not to miss
For those who love a glow-up moment, UMC’s Beauty Bar by Tara Rose Salon has you covered. This #GRWM (Get Ready With Me!) experience offers festival-inspired hair braiding stations and nail art that’ll have you Instagram-ready in no time. It’s a perfect stop for anyone looking to take their festival look up a notch.
And no festival is complete without music – UMC has an all-star line-up featuring Abu Dhabi’s local talent, with live DJ sets and performances throughout the weekend. Be on the lookout for beats from the likes of DJ Beth Marie, Ayesha Reid, and DJ Crown Prince, to name a few! Feel the rhythm carry you into the night as live music fills the air until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
For those looking to test their dance floor moves, UMC is also hosting a Dance Battle led by Free Flow Community, where dancers can compete for a cool 1,500 AED cash prize. And, making a first-ever appearance in Abu Dhabi, Dubai’s cult-favourite party concepts House of Yanos and The Cookout will take over the festival with their own unique flair.
